Our shoes are manufactured according to the most up to date methods in high quality production centers. Quality and uniformity are fundamental to our performance. Everything we make is produced according to EU Guideline 93/42 for Medical Aids, and bears the CE label, if destined to the UE zone, guaranteeing safety in use. We are fully aware that confidence in us and in our products has to be earned all over again in daily use.
The ISO 9001 certification of our company has provided a solid basis for confidence since 1998. Nimco is a certified supplier of medical aids and Nimco’s products are covered by insurance companies when prescribed by doctors (orthopaedic surgeons / rehabilitation practitioners). An example of this is the children’s therapeutic shoes which have been included in the German register of Medical Aids, under product group 31 “shoes”, meaning they have been approved and recognized as medical aids in the German system.
In order to guarantee the quality of our processes in our manufacturing unit, in Portugal, we’ve certified the Quality Management System. As a modern unit we could not overlook internal work Hygiene and the environment, so our certificates express our concerns for security and health for our people, our surroundings and the planet.
